The first CEO Summit of the BFA is scheduled to take place on November 19 at a Chinese major business city, Shenzhen.
Prime Minister of Thailand, Thaksin Shinawatra and more than 600 entrepreneurs from Asia and other parts of the world are expected to attend the event to discuss new economic challenges.
Talking to newsmen, Long Yongtu said the Boao forum was also supposed to alleviate the sufferings of those people who were hit by natural calamities.
The forthcoming meeting of the CEO would be a good opportunity to draw their attention towards plight of thousands of Pakistani people, who lost their hearths and homes in wake of the devastated earthquake on October 8, he said, adding they deserved maximum international support for their rehabilitation. He said the CEO Summit would provide a new platform for Asian and world business leaders to focus on current economic issues, exchanges and co-operation. As it will be near the year's end, a special session will be devoted to World Economic Development in 2006: Prospects and Estimates.
The summit aims to touch upon a wide range of issues of interest to business leaders, including corporate branding, technology innovation, internationalisation and individuality of Asian enterprises.
